If I wanted to go back 3-4 months of my posts, I could show you the names I was called because I didn’t hate Trump as much as the Cruz supporters.
This was when I was completely neutral on the 2 of them and never once attacked another FReeper for their support of either candidate.
Thank you for posting this , this is exactly how I heard what Rush has said. You should post this again in its own thread so more people would see it.

I shed no tears over Cruz supporters feeling being hurt.
I imagine the rules have changed some since 1860.
I doubt Lincoln operated exactly under the same rules.
Many trolls sign up and hardly post anything except when they have some specific, often politcal, agenda to promote. I noticed you had an old sign up date but never remember seeing your name before; plus saing Limgaugh is more “conservative” than Trump is sheer ignorance and smacks of either total idiocy or the furtherance of some agenda.
Just thought I’d see if you were familiar. Just reminded me of professional posters. Maybe I’m wrong about trollhood.

I think LJ’s point is that you are a possible troll of some flavor, but I don’t care what you are. Cruz has about as much of a chance at winning the Republican nomination as you becoming the Pharaoh of Egypt and the Cubs winning the World Series.
When I listen to someone for 3 hours and only hear praise of Cruz, I don’t think I am hearing it wrong.
I can say the same for me. I got some nasty names also when I was not supporting either. But to say Cruz supporters are worse can not be proven. Same goes for saying Trump supporters are worse.
At this point it is better to just not post one way or the other because it hurts our side. The conservative side. We need to back the candidate that wins and attacking people who are closer to the same view point dont need to do that.
I will pull the lever for Trump but people attacking me or people like me tend to drive me away.
And implying that I will get banned for saying this is stupid. If I get banned for that then maybe this is not the conservative site I thought it was.
I don’t listen I read his website. From what I’ve seen, it is very fair.

I’d try to not let my vote be swayed by the meanness/pettiness of others. Difficult, I know. Some Cruzers behavior here has pushed me away from him, but I was already moving in that direction anyway.
It was Cruz himself who disqualified himself to me.
That and the many (and continuing) stories about his zipper problem. There’s something there there.
Fair enough. We both see the same thing. Attacking each other aint working. But we disagree on candidates. No big deal.
Rush has made clear that he supports Cruz. If you don’t like it, turn off the program until after the nomination process is over. If Rush still is anti-Trump after Trump wins, turn off his program for good.
I've listen to Rush since the mid-80's and enjoy his schtick. But I'm not confused as to what he does. He's enjoys politics and likes the commentary on it. Do I expect him to be an activist or go to bat for my political agendas? Of course not.
He is still entertaining on the occasions I get to listen to him lately but I do not expect him to be out there trying to change society to satisfy some listener's ideas.
Trump supporters are worse by far. FR is awash in Glenn Beck bashing threads each one of them containing over a hundred posts of hate and vitriol. Now the same is occurring to another staunch conservative, Rush Limbaugh. How many threads have there been of Cruz supporters bashing Trump supporting Mike Savage. I haven’t seen one.
Thank you, fatman. Isn’t reason a gift from God? Aren’t we supposed to hold the reins on our emotions so they don’t cloud our judgment? Sure serves me better.
