My daughter was accepted to a grad school program there with a nice scholarship. They offered another $5000 a year as the acceptance deadline approached. She will be attending another program with a slightly higher cost to my great relief.
Good for her; she’ll be safer for it. We’re looking at some schools in nearby Newark NJ, and they just had a couple of students killed there at two neighboring schools. The first a couple of weeks ago involved drugs (as I understand it), but the second (just this morning) involved a student returning to a frat house from a store very early in the morning.
I couldn’t imagine what the families are going through; we would never consider leaving our children there to live as hostages of the ferals.
