Now that they’re all safely home, I can tell you that Sarah’s band won the parade in Winchester. They brought home three plaques. Best band in their class. Best auxiliary group (guard and majorettes). And best overall in the parade.

Yes, she was very excited and now very tired. I’ve got to take her this afternoon to the ortho to get a new retainer.

They were basically non-stop since Thursday AM. Show at the Kennedy Center. Smithsonian. Arlington Cemetery. Dinner cruise on the Potomac. And the big parade on Saturday.

who doesn't prefer the snuggery of first class? I never fly first class, but I have no problem with those who have beaucoup frequent flier miles, or beaucoup bucks, spending them on first class travel. This is just another attempt to insert class warfare and resentment into the populace.

No, this was scheduled when she got her bottom half off. The retainer for the top was getting cracks in it.
