Trump telling WV people they don't need to vote in primary?
Vanity | May 5, 2016 | Pinkbell

I just got done watching the Trump rally in WV, and one thing that concerned me was that Trump was saying it was over and he had it won and had the delegates. He told the people in WV they could save their vote for November. He said they don't need to vote in the primary on Tuesday.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he still doesn't have the West Virginia delegates, does he? He's the presumptive nominee, but he still is short under 200 delegates, right? Thus this would mean he needs the votes in West Virginia and elsewhere to get him to the 1237.

I am saying this for anyone from West Virginia or Nebraska who are voting on Tuesday. Trump still needs your vote.

I’m sure the voters of West Virginia are aware of the fact that they have local and states races to vote for and will do so.

If that is accurate, then I can breathe a sigh of relief.

Good!! That’s what I happen to like about him.

I’m sick and tired of “reserved”. Looks where THAT has gotten us, over the past decade.

Keep clutching those pearls, Miss Manners. ;-)

Their duty to vote.

I think he was just teasing.

Is that the case in the other remaining states??
Great to have the tweets from Bill Mitchell, who is one of my main sources for all things Trump.

-- I don't get why he would say that. --

Reading too much into Priebus announcement that Trump is presumptive nominee.

And nevermind the mechanics of the race, he is also missing a political opportunity for the people to have an opportunity to show a Trump mandate, if such a thing is to be.

.@mitchellvii It could be that delegates are invalid if the person suspended their campaign, an auto win for Trump.

I would not worry too much about WV. Trump is obliterating everyone including Hillary.

“Poll: Trump holds 39-point lead in West Virginia (And leads Hillary by 27%)”

That was a response to Bill Mitchell, but he is saying there is no source for that. Other people are tweeting him they DO have to vote.

He is telling independents to vote Dem to sabotage Hillary. That’s how I took it. It’s not a bad idea.

It’s not over until it’s over. Trump needs to claw for every committed delegate, and he needs to search for loyal delegates. Even with no formal opposition, the establishment is going to pull a fast one if Donald Trump gives them a chance. Trump can relax on January 20, 2017, a few minutes after noon, but not until then, and even then not by much.
