I would hardly call closing stores evidence of their being in trouble. If you have over built your business, it’s survival to trim it to fit your circumstances.
And, per the article, they actually had a net increase in stores. They are trying to adjust. They just built a new one in my town with a drive through...something I have only seen once before. And this one lets you touch screen order, so you’re not yelling into an intercom.
