Oops, didn’t see that this had been posted. Thought it might not have got approved.
Haven’t been here very long, I don’t even know how to do a general reply. Had to click and reply to someone. Maybe that’s how it works here? I’d heard the name freerepublic years ago but didn’t really surf until a few days ago and didn’t know much about it til I read the wikipedia page on it. Nice.
Trump sent me here obviously. ;)

Actually, I don’t remember how I stumbled upon FR this time.

I’m just worried the MSM will go all out on Trump in the general election even more than they already have and that it would be good for us (especially newbies like me) to have a central repository of talking points complete with links to the proof to do battle with the progs. That and of course Trump will be going up against malfunctioning voting machines I imagine. I did manage to find some and I know some are duplicates but I haven’t clicked every link in this thread yet. I do see some that I haven’t found. Here’s what I did find. I have them on my desktop in a text file.

Police estimated 500,000 people attended the largest military parade ever held in New York. Organizers, who placed the turnout at closer to a million, said the parade would not have been a success if it hadn’t been for real estate developer Donald Trump, who contributed $200,000 and raised another $300,000. ‘Donald Trump saved the parade,’ said parade director Tom Fox, himself a Vietnam veteran. ‘We had asked for donations from 200 corporations, and none of them came through,’ he said. ‘This donation is the single most important thing I’ve ever done,’ said a beaming Trump. ‘This is more important than all of my buildings and my casinos. This is my way of saying thank you to all the men an women in the armed services who have made it possible for me to become a success. Without them freedom and liberty would be gone.

Organizers received no contributions from the 200 corporations they asked, among them military contractors to whom they presented documentation of profits made on weapons used in World War II.

“Zippo, dada, zilch,” Mr. Fox said. “Nothing from Northrup, United Technologies, none of them. To me, it’s a sin.”

By mid-August, organizers had a bank account of exactly $1.21. A request to airlines to donate blankets for aging veterans was turned down because logos might not be visible on television. Then Donald Trump, a nonveteran, agreed to throw in $200,000 as well as raise money from his friends, in exchange for being named grand marshal.

This time a million dollars, same parade I think

But soon the UWVC, and the New York Veterans Day parade began to grow, in part because of a $1 million matching donation from Donald Trump, and the parade began to grow.

The centerpiece of the commission’s effort is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a glass-block wall, 70 feet long and 16 feet high, which is etched with excerpts from 83 letters - including Sergeant Calamia’s - that were written by or to the soldiers who served in America’s most unpopular war.

‘’It’s not just brick and mortar,’’ said Donald Trump, the real-estate executive who donated $1 million of the $2.5 million raised by the commission, which is also charged with financing programs for unemployed local veterans. ‘’It’s very much a living monument.’’

‘’I was a very strong opponent of the Vietnam War,’’ he said, ‘’but I also recognized that the people who went to fight were great Americans. I always thought they got a bad shake in life and never got their just recognition.’’

Real estate mogul Donald Trump announced Friday that he would offer a $10,000 reward to the Buffalo bus driver who stopped a young woman from leaping off a bridge to her death two weeks ago.
Trump announced his intention via a Tweet that said “The bus driver who saved the woman from jumping off the bridge was a really cool, great guy. I’m going to send him 10-thousand dollars he deserves it!”

Donald Trump doesn’t just have the golden touch for business – he also has a heart of gold.
The real-estate mogul has been housing Jennifer Hudson and some of her relatives at the Trump International Hotel & Tower free of charge.
“She’s a great girl. And we’re protecting them well” “They are very safe.”
Hudson has been seeking refuge at the Trump holding since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago on Oct. 24.

The private Boeing 727 of real estate tycoon Donald Trump arrived from Los Angeles at LaGuardia Airport Tuesday morning, carrying aboard an Orthodox Jewish child with a rare and still undiagnosed breathing illness.
Trump made his plane available for the special trip to New York after the boy’s parents, Judy and Harold Ten, called Trump and told him of their plight.
Commercial airlines refused to fly the child because he could not travel without an elaborate life-support system, which includes a portable oxygen tank, a suction machine, a breathing bag and an adrenaline syringe.

1986

It was September 1986, and Annabel Hill, 66, was facing an auction where she would lose the farm that had been in her family for five generations.
Hill’s husband, Lenard, had committed suicide eight months earlier, 20 minutes before a scheduled auction, in a last-ditch attempt to save his property with life insurance money. The life insurance money wasn’t enough, covering only $175,000 of debts than ran in excess of $300,000, from two years of a drought that Hill said had ruined their livelihood. Even when several hundred acres of the 1,300-acre Waynesboro, Georgia, farm were sold, the now-widowed Annabel still found herself deep in debt and facing an auction.
That’s when real estate tycoon Donald Trump and a series of other personalities stepped in to help save Hill’s farm.

Donald Trump has promised a $25,000 donation to Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, the Marine released Friday from a Mexican prison after 214 days of confinement and physical abuse.

I think a small part of me needed to convince myself that he’s not such a bad guy, not that there’s anyone else to vote for. I also have some family and acquaintances on facebook I plan to hit with this info. That “What’s on your mind?” at the top of the fb feed is really getting hard to resist. Looks like we’ve been given one final chance to save the USA and I want to do all I can. If I can convince 4 people, that’s 4 less for the beast and 4 more for Trump. That’s a gain of 8 technically.

Just over 100 delegates to go.

Hey, a series of equals signs get replaced with horizontal rules, cool

Thanks everyone

Ok, I went through them all and added some more to my collection. Good stuff. I see we’ve got some wise asses here. That’s alright, I’m one too. Nope, I’m not spamming, not sure what nox means and I’m prepped for the genocide.
Guess I won’t use the equals signs for separators anymore. Makes it look like different posts.
