Hmmm. Audi already has a great 4.0L V8 twin turbo that also has cylinder deactivation. My 2013 Audi S6 uses it. In the RS7 they tune it up to 560 hp.
Impressive technology.
Mid blowing complexity.
Imagine the guys working on one of these rigs in 2036.
Compared to today’s 1996 vehicle.
pretty good cars but way, way overpriced
Not bad for a car named after a Shakespeare character...
I remember when a young guy would not want to be seen in a four door car. The ideal of a cool car was a Porsche 911. Now that the baby boomers have gotten fat I see them driving around in extra large four door Porsches.
Pictures, or it is vaporware.
Always loved Porsches. I dont know a model I dont like. Always wanted one. Been looking at some Boxsters recently. They can be had relatively cheap. I know the motor can detonate without warning, but I think I’m about to take the risk.
I also Love Toyotas. Have owned a Corolla, Subaru Outback( affiliate company) a Camry and now own a Highlander.
Scroll Turbochargers. Is that common?
Scroll AC compressors are used almost exclusively now. Never heard or thought of the technology being used for supercharging.
Now put it in the Cayman...
