To: Be Careful

The subsequent question is by what legal authority does the Federal government assume it can control the sale of pot? Especially since the laws in Colorado require that it be grown, processed, sold in State to those who have been in the state for 30 days or longer.

In other words, no inter-state commerce or trade. There is no constitutional authority for the feds here.

Same thing with guns. If a gun is manufactured and sold within a state, what authority does the Fed have to regulate the ownership, or sale of such a firearm?

“There is no constitutional authority for the feds here.”

Yep, all they can do is appeal to court-stitutional authority.
