Many school boards are thrilled with this. Parents are going to have to educate them by threatening to pull their kids out.

That would work if the school tax money followed the student. Pulling a kid out means one less kid for them to worry about and zero fewer dollars. It would be better for the kid, but wouldn’t cause any hardship to the school.
