Aaron is the male form.”

Hard to tell any more. One of my doctor clients has a female patient who spells her name Airin, another has a male patient who spells his name Errun. We have learned to say, “Spell please” all the time. All pronounce as most of us say Erin and Aaron.

"Erin" is the Gaelic name for Ireland

"Aaron" is a Hebrew name that means "lofty" or "exalted."
