It’s a form of transportation for many people. You can go almost as fast as a bike and it costs nothing, outside of the $400 one might spend on a quality board.

But you have to consider the hidden added costs of neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation and reconstructive surgery. Not to mention funeral costs. :-)
