There is an answer to this mess, and it is real ‘repentance’: Teshuvah. Not a two minute prayer, but a life-long journey of Torah study and obedience. For Torah is Life, the ‘Yoke of Heaven’ which constrains us to do good and eschew evil. By it a nation is exalted, and by it kingdoms are brought to ruin. Torah undergirds all cosmic laws, physics and quantum mechanics, and it’s authority is supreme throughout the universe. When the blended Christian movement wandered away from its root, it left with a partial, limited inheritance. The spectacular Western Culture it produced has come and gone. Christianity has failed to bring the Redemption of History. Why? The Nazarene said that his movement would destroy the very gates of Hell. What went wrong? If people want to convert to Judaism, that’s OK with me! But Christianity worked miracles for blacks when they were in slavery and when they came out. Some of our greatest songs are Negro Spirituals - so very moving. The beautiful words and music of a footsore race. How could they forget that for islam?
