I started a Cruz guy but have gone all in for Trump. That said, open primaries have served up terrible candidates like Mitt Romney and John McCaine. They allow the democrats to decide the opposition candidate and I’m against them.

Open primaries are a bad idea but so are caucuses. The biggest change needed is to allow the candidates to pick their own delegates which I suspect Trump will push for.
