I had high hopes for Ghostbusters (2016). The original was pure gold, and the song is still in our heads every time someone asks "Who you gonna call?" (You're welcome.) But the remake is now likely doomed. When news broke on Tuesday that Hillary Clinton will be appearing with the new all-female team of spook sleuths on Ellen DeGeneres, every fear about feminism taking over this film was confirmed.

So tired of pointless, soulless remakes of good movies.
The trailer for the new version is the most unliked movie trailer ever on YouTube. Its already dead.
Well this movie isn't gonna settle well in the Mid-east and parts of Michigan I tell ya!
But I mean wow! WTF!? While were at it, make them all Mexicans. I mean ghostbusting must be a job no one else wants to do right?

Sometimes it seems like Hollywood execs deliberately sabotage their movies and TV shows. Why go out of your way to piss off half or more of your potential audience before the movie opens? I just continue to not get it.

Hollywood execs are missing the most important point. Just as millions enjoy hearing Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, some for the 205th time, so do they truly enjoy watching 75 years of GREAT movies, on TV, for the XXXth time.
Many people claim that they have watched (their favorite) so often, they can turn the sound OFF, and sit there reciting the lines, and sitting at home.
They boast of the dollars taken in, but at today’s prices, what is the count of “bottoms in the seats?”
They’ll learn the hard way.

Given the trend to have transgender buildings in every business, school and institution, I think more than likely Caitlyn Jenner will play the part of MacGyver.
The movie industry will have to come up with a new term for “drastic, utter failure” to describe the new Ghostbusters. “Bomb” won’t cut it anymore. “Ultra-mega-hyper-nuclear bomb” might get close ...
Change the title to muffbusters and carry on. It will be a hit with the gender identity population.
