Perhaps they were arguing about whether the apple pie filling is indeed hot or not.

The apple pies were ruined long ago. The revived Hostess apple pies are also pale shadows of pies of old.

My guess is that the McD folks were arguing abot the strawberry and creme pies.

The only thing we definitely do know, at this point, is: at least one of the pies -- possibly more than one of them -- was racist.

Dixie’s Little Stop in Mt.Calm, Texas has perhaps the best fried pies on the planet. Only $1.50 each (IIRC). People call ahead and drive from the FWD Metromess to be sure they have enough. I bought a dozen last week.
