Gerber was wondering why their baby food wasn’t selling in Africa. Of course we all know that they put a picture of a baby on the label.
Well, Africans assume that a picture on the label indicates what the food is made of, so they assumed that the food was actually mashed up babies.
“Gerber was wondering why their baby food wasnt selling in Africa.”
Truth is always stranger than fiction. MAD Magazine used to publish gag labels for cans & bottles. For Beechnut strained baby food, they did this:
“BELCHNOT STRAINED BABIES”
“Packed in East Africa. By cannibals for cannibals.”
However, nothing can beat the Simpsons label of
“SOYLENT GREEN...... NOW WITH MORE GIRLS!”
