What about the rest of the companies - Target, Walmart, GE, Macy’s, etc. etc. 90+% of large companies are run by liberals and they are not 20 something.
I was referring to tech companies in general, but I don’t think Target and Walmart ARE liberal in general.
They’ll pay lip service to liberal causes that don’t impact their bottom line — like transgender bathrooms —while avoiding a $15 minimum wage and unionization to their dying breath.
I think retailers especially try to thread a tricky political needle, protecting their margins and competitive edge wherever they can. I view most of their social activism as a distraction so they can point to being on the front lines of social justice when their trade practices and labor circumstances are in the spotlight.
