It’s a rare 1971 Chevy Zeneda, a masterpiece of American Craftsmanship.

If it’s the original engine and ignition system, it will hum right along after the Norks or Iran decide to EMP us. Could be very useful.

"I drive a 1971 pick-up It is an International Harvester.."

We have a mid-60s IH tractor.

If their vehicles were engineered anything like their tractors, that's gotta be a heckuva truck.

I'd like to find an old IH Scout one of these days to play with...

I had a 69 Nova...somehow different, and they did not change much.

There is a person that works as rep in the midwest I support. She has a sharp looking Scout II.

The “SS” designation usually meant that the car came with a big block engine, typically a 396 but a few came with 454s and for the very fortunate, even aluminum block ZL-1s by special order. Many different models could be ordered as Super Sports. Miss my 427 ‘68 Camaro.

It’s definitely a Nova, but there may have been a little bodywork done to the rear fenders to accommodate the oversized rear tires. Maybe an added bit of flare to those rear fenders is what’s throwing you.

As far as I know, no Nova SS ever came with a Cowl-Induction hood.

They made a hatchback version of the Nova

I think that is the Jupiter 8 mentioned in the Star Trek episode Bread and Circuses.

Lame-o humor.

Zeneta said the change in the Nova design gave him a pause.

That is a...paw, from a bear, according to the news story.

It’s a Nova. The rear side window is the give-a-way.
