Now,
that's a headline I never, ever expected to see.
All five were released into the custody of a relative of one the teens. The troopers say they initially had trouble contacting the teens' parents because, due to Amish tradition, the parents don't use telephones.
But now they drive minivans?
Just dayum.

Never thought those buggies could go that fast.

Amazing they let them go at all. 110mph, drunk, throwing cans out the window... LOL!

‘a jug of whiskey.’
I’ve only seen whisky in bottles. Is it a custom in Amish country to sell it in jugs?

I thought the only way Amish could go that fast would be terminal velocity reached falling off a cliff. ;-)

They should have been more careful out among the English.

I’d like to see the horse that did that!

Father, can I “pimp my ride”?
To: PROCON
Oh come on! Stupid teens doing stupid things. Nothing new. If they had been FR Amish there would have been a body count. Just because they are Amish doesn’t mean they can’t be morons.

I can’t tell if you’re joking, or if you’re saying that some Amish brew their own whisky. I thought Amish didn’t drink? (Other than a few teens, tooling around in a very spry minivan.)
