BS. You never heard about people attacking transgenders until they started faking their own attacks and fabricating stories. I wouldn't be surprised if the police found a baseball bat laying around the victim's apartment that has the same blunt force trauma silhouette signature as the injuries.
Not entirely accurate. There have been a handful of incidents (this article, after all, mentions only two) over the years of men dressed as women being assaulted or killed by other men, in a context in which the men dressed as women were engaging in sex acts with men who thought they were having sex with a woman until it was too late.
