So far, Representative Gowdy has been all hat and no cattle, with apparent divided loyalties to the House leadership, and to who know what all. Better than the career types, but still an 'office seeker,' or a featherbedder.

It's going to take Mack the Knife to head up these top-heavy agencies, each with it's own huge flocks of eunuchs.

State, to cite but one example, needs to be turned over and shaken like it hasn't been since John Hay or John Foster Dulles.

Trey is a tool of the GOPe. He takes legitimate conservative anger and talks and talks and talks and talks until people get bored. He never ever takes action. Also he is an advocate for the illegals.

Hard to be sure about that - no telling how much interference has been thrown at him, and all the parties doing it. He can't force folks to do what they refuse to do if there's nothing in place to actually punish/coerce them.

Not my first choice but he may be very good at it with the extra "discretion" that seems to go with the job.
