An innocent 2-year-old Michigan girl who was shot in the head as men argued over spilled juice has died, a hospital spokesperson said.
Little Makanzee Oldham spent days on life support after she was hit by a stray bullet Wednesday while seated in a car with her father and several other people in Detroit.
The problems started when 32-year-old Antoine Smelley dumped juice over a woman’s head just as she was getting ready to leave a Fairmount Drive home go to prom, prosecutors said.
Smelley began waving a gun and threatening the woman — and soon Cleveland Smelley, 30, and Deonta Bennett, 21, showed up and started a fight inside, the Detroit Free Press reported.
The fighting moved outside, according to MLive, and sometime during the brawl Bennett handed a gun to Cleveland Smelley who allegedly fired the shot that hit the tot.
Bennett, Antoine Smelley and Cleveland Smelley were arrested on eight counts of assault with intent to murder.
Bennett and Cleveland Smelley also face felony firearms charges, while Antoine Smelley was hit with two counts of felony assault and a firearm offense.
A spokeswoman for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office said that the charges would be amended to murder in light of the toddler’s death.
The three Detroit men are being held without bond and are due in court again in June.
Smelley — who knew the victim’s father — has a prior criminal history and was released from parole last year.
Prosecutors said they didn’t know the motive for the juice-dousing that sparked the violence.

I’ve lived anywhere between 6 and 18 miles north of the border (8 Mile Rd.) my entire life and when things like this happen, the families and neighbors of victims AND perpetrators always seem surprised when it happens. They say how it is unacceptable it is, make calls for changes, decide to take a stand against it, but then it happens all over again to someone else in another neighborhood or again in the same neighborhood the very next day. Their tears and frustrations are real, the dead are real, the crimes are real, but why it should come as a surprise to anyone, I have no idea, especially since the local news covers it all so well. Detroit local network news channels have a wide viewing area and we see it now more than ever.
Also thank Europe for sending over its people whose progeny miss a dose of Ritalin and shoot up their classmates at school. Also thank them for MTV which peddles the most vile filth aimed at young people. Don’t forget that most Americans did not originate from the continent of Africa and therefore not directly responsible for the mess the US is in. In fact you can thank European descended politicians for starting welfare, section 8, and a plethora of other ills in America. Man does evil because he is evil apart from Christ not because of his country of origin. But for the grace of God I would be doing the same or worse. Pride goes before a fall.

I’d say inner city blacks are mostly all related judging by how many baby daddies one woman can have and how many baby mommas one man can impregnate. Literally one man can have as many progeny out there as he can find women to get pregnant. Women-one birth a year but one man can have an unlimited number of women pregnant by him in one year. If most are poor and remain in the same area with the same associations one man’s progeny would have to hook up eventually . Never knowing or caring. Sisters and brothers-daughters and fathers-all likely if no one knows who fathered who. Then figure generations of that compiling. Thats the Middle East AND much of the black culture here.

There were no Confederates until Lincoln used slavery as a catalyst to start the CW because the South was outperforming the North economically in trade with Europe. Most of the South chose to secede.
The slaves were being brought in through the 1800s. It was the plantation owners in the Colonies and later in the fledgling USA that bought the slaves from the slave traders.
Keep in mind that Abe’s emancipation declaration only eliminated slavery in the Confederate States... not the Union States, where they continued to have slaves.
Actually, It has been shown that in cities with concentrated ghettoes, the ghetto people (with their rampant promiscuity) will rut and mate with whomever and inadvertently breed with relatives, because they don’t know who their relatives are.
So yeah, the end result is inbreeding, which did not happen when they were slaves, and they were subject to the conventional wisdom regarding animal husbandry.
We must stop juice violence now!
