Comedian Sarah Silverman appears to be on some sort of sick mission to convince Americans that aborting an unborn baby is funny. This week, however, her raunchy comedy routine backfired.
Page Six reports Silverman told some “considerably dirty and outrageous” jokes during a recent charity event for children in New York City. Young students were in the audience when Silverman joked about abortion, sexual assault, semen and sex with her boyfriend, according to the report.
The charity event benefited the ArtsConnection, which promotes art education in public schools. In addition to Silverman, children from city middle and high schools also performed during the evening event, according to the report.

“At the end of the night, Silverman seemed to shock even the most hard-core New Yorkers with her limit-pushing new material,” said a guest at the esteemed annual event, where Lena Dunham and Amy Cappellazzo were honored. Another guest at the gala said of Silverman’s saucy shtick, “I guess she was told not to hold back.”
The event kicked off with a more tame performance by kids from MS 266 Park Place Community Middle School in Brooklyn, and presenters included students from city high schools Edward R. Murrow and La Guardia.

“Even for teens,” Silverman’s routine “was intense,” said one guest.
Spies said Silverman’s jokes included recalling a time in college that one of her sisters was vomiting in a toilet and simultaneously defecated when her pants fell down; a bit about how “sperm have a sense of smell”; and a Silverman run-in with a 9-year-old abortion protester who told her she would “burn in hell,” but Silverman then made her smile by telling a “poop joke.”
A guest joked, “It was an interesting bookend to an evening that started with kids performing a tune from ‘Once on This Island.’”
Boldly pro-abortion, Silverman has no scruples about telling filthy jokes – often about abortion, sex and religion. In 2012, she also caused an uproar after an online post about getting a “quickie abortion.” In 2014, she joked that unborn babies are “just goo.” Then she participated in a vulgar video that claimed Jesus Christ supports abortion. And in 2013, she joked about doing a “live abortion in this show” on MSNBC.
It would be a massive flop but since when does that worry modern Hollywood?

I love comedians and Sara Silverman is a sad example of some one with talent but no moral compass. she has the timing and the twisted sense of the inane but if you listen to her comedy it is all about destroying a persons sense of right and wrong. as much as I find some of her material funny. I will not watch her on television and suggest anyone else to do the same.

I’m all in favor of people with mental problems getting help. In Sarah’s case, clearly she still has issues.
But my question is-—why do we have mentally ill people as entertainment? Why does anyone hire her to perform, considering her mental condition??? Why is she openly welcomed on comedy Central and other TV programs to spout off her nonsense???

Sarah Silverman scrapes the bottom of the barrel in vulgar remarks, with a thick overlay of gratuitous cruelty. Dan Savage is the same nasty way. Debauchery of the innocent is their calling card. Some libs have deluded themselves into thinking these two act out of unselfish humanity, when the opposite is the truth.

I don't judge jews negatively because of verbiage like this. For example, as a Christian, I think the world of Dennis Prager.
Each person is an individual who is individually responsible for his or her own action. She will be judged according to what she has done.
I see a lot of blame going to Silverman... and of course, as the person who said that stuff, she deserves it.
But IMHO, most of the blame goes to whoever invited / hired her to do the event. They had to know what her ‘comedy’ is about, and had to want to subject those kids to it.
I wonder if Sarah Silverman would appreciate hearing my joke about pushing her worthless butt into a gas chamber and then incinerating her useless corpse! I think it’s HILARIOUS!!! The kids will love it, I’m sure!

Let’s see - a charity event for children, all of whom she probably would have had aborted were she in charge of how everything should be - how strange.....
