The woman who sold the freezer told her neighbor not to open it because a Sunday school class was using it as a time capsule.
The truth wasnt nearly so innocent.
The woman, who asked not to be identified, told WNCN that she opened the freezer Friday, three weeks after getting it, because no one from the church came by.
A church was supposed to come, pick up the items inside the freezer. I was supposed to get the freezer back, she said. The church never came. I decided to open it.
Instead of a time capsule, the Goldsboro, North Carolina, woman found body parts inside of the deep freezer that she had bought from a neighbor for $30.
My heart was in my throat and I ran outside, called 911, she said.
Even worse, the neighbor said she believes the body parts are those of the sellers elderly mother. She said she hadnt seen the mother since September, but that she was a sweet woman.
The seller allegedly told her neighbor that she was going to West Virginia to take care of her mother and left town the day after selling her the freezer.
She sold me her frozen mother for $30. How do you do something like that? the woman said.
Police confirmed that human remains were found in the freezer and the body parts have been sent to a medical examiner for identification.
Serenity now. Insanity later.
How many parts? All of them?
Great deal on the freezer though.
LOL
Neighbor must be a reptile.
Anybody who has been to Goldsboro would understand.
I don’t think this freezer will ever see any use again.
So THAT’S where I left them!
Are you kidding? I'd just give it a good wash.
They might have been storing dead bodies in there!
Unping?
I’d put a doll in it, so curious friends who heard the story would get a shock ;)
+1
She said she hadnt seen the mother since September, but that she was a sweet woman.
Uh...by "sweet" woman, you do mean nice, right? And not "delicious"?!??
That’s cold
NC, my home.
Last name Dahmer by some chance?
A freezer huh..bet it was a GE
What exactly was the seller thinking? Giving her dead mother to a neighbor? Why not bury the poor woman?
