Yep, it's that reeking bag of pustulent Mitt, again.
Where have all these so-called conservatives been for the last two decades voting for liberals like McCain, Romney. And NOW they have a distaste for voting for Trump because he is not conservative enough?
Duplicitous, two-faced hypocrites all of them. They don't like Trump, not because he's not conservative enough for them (because he is conservative on many issues like immigration) but because he's not a member of their cushy, keep-the-gravey-train-running "club".
I will also vote for Trump in November with no regrets. There is not other choice. His is a winner and a leader. He will make a fine, if unprecedented, president.
The NRO is not any better then the Huffington Post.
The choice is clear not grim.
I like National Review but this article makes them sound like MoveOn.org. They are playing on subjective points that will only further encourage to left. Damage to conservatism? I cant see how Trump would do any more damage than conservative in name only GWB. I know Bush called himself conservative but his actions showed him to be conservative light, at the best of times. And even so with GWB, Nation Review and others saw the sanity in voting him versus Al Gore can you imagine Al Gore of John Kerry?!
The choice isn’t grim. The choice is crystal clear.
Nicely put.
Stupid title. There’s no “choice” for conservatives.
National Review blows dead dogs.
Ted Cruz was the first choice for millions of us. The majority of us including me are voting for Trump. No one in their right mind would want Hillary.
But there’s way more than hundreds of Cruz supporters holding out and most are not anywhere near Washington DC. They are waiting for Trump to make a firmer commitment to conservatism and to stop changing his views so often. Trump insulting the father of Ted Cruz was a very low blow and it’s about time he apologizes. Trump will need most of these Cruz voters to defeat Hillary.
As for your state of Minnesota, how about you clean that up? I was there a couple years back and never have I see such unfriendly people. In Minnesota and Iowa and Nebradka too there were a lot of people who were unfriendly. I live down south and could it be that I was expecting too much?
The last two Presidential elections were uh grim. This one less so.
