A couple of days ago, my wife and I went to a Japanese restaurant that’s our favorite in Eugene, OR. This restaurant has not relabeled the restrooms. After eating, I went outside and window shopped while my wife went to use the restroom. I noticed a flamboyantly dressed male leave the restaurant followed in a minute by my wife. Her face was white (which is hard for a Southeast Asian). The gay or trans or whatever had come out of a stall while she was washing up, said hello and left.

Not much the restaurant could have done. They are nice and seemingly conservative. One of them came up to my wife as she exited the restroom and saw if she was okay. The woman said they didn’t know what to do as they can’t really afford the extensive remodel strict compliance would require and even with a third bathroom perverts could still use whatever bathroom they felt comfortable in. My wife replied that she wished the government would take a moment to consider her comfort.

My wife replied that she wished the government would take a moment to consider her comfort.

The only thing I can think of is that most women just don’t care, at least yet. We’ll see what happens when weirdoes start to use these insane policies as cover to get their rocks off in women’s exclusive areas. Maybe it will be a self-correcting problem.

That’s not a bad idea.
