CLEVELAND (AP) — The father of a woman killed by a convicted sex offender dived across a courtroom table to attack him Thursday shortly after a judge sentenced the defendant to death for killing three people and wrapping their bodies in garbage bags.

Van Terry, the father of Shirellda Terry, had walked to the front of the courtroom to give a victim-impact statement and turned toward Michael Madison, who gave him a malicious smile. Terry lunged at Madison and was immediately swarmed by sheriff's deputies as Madison and his attorneys scrambled to get out of the way.

IIRC the shooter got all of 6 months’ probation for the act.

Defense attormeys, prosecutors and judges should all be held accountable when someone they could have sent to jail for a long time is out and commits a crime.

Parole boards should be held accountable when someone they parole commits another crime.

Watch Law Abiding Citizen for a good portrayal of how they should pay if they let someone get away with murder and get out without the proper punishment.

I’ remember that incident, that was some 25 years ago. Hopefully the father never had charges filed against him.

I still remember the one who waited at the airport as the molester of his son was being extradited back to trail. The father waited near the pay phones and in one tight spin pulled out his pistol and - boom - one shot right below the temple. American justice performed.

That was a mother; in California. A long time ago.

I don't even recall if a jury (could or would) convict her.

If the court and prison system actually offed these scumbags after one appeal trial and not languish for 20 years waiting to get justice...

Stuff like this probably would not happen...

I know if it was my family he murdered, I'd find a way to make sure he got his punishment...personally..
