Over the years a lot of good actors have played Dr. Who, my personal favorites are Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, Peter Davison and Paul McGann.

Personal faves are Baker, Pertwee, McCoy (a lot of bad episodes but I found him personally enjoyable as opposed to Davidson who I disliked but who probably had the best run of stories), and Tennant.
