They didn't waste a minute identifying the perp by his race. Somehow; I don't think they would have done the same if he were non-white.
I could be wrong, but I don't think any of the major media outlets described the black, homosexual man as such when he murdered his television news colleague on camera in Virginia about a year ago.

I think it's possible that they specified he was white because initially they released no information and many on the net were saying "no name? well he must be ... [insert ethnicity here]" and they wanted to short circuit that. Still no name though, which is odd.

This is funny, in a sad way, when paired with a comment from an earlier thread: ( Detectives were told the suspect, who is not being identified at this time, ) Hmmm... I wonder why. Perhaps to hide the suspects RACE???
So because cops didn't immediately specify his race, the perp must be non-white. And because they immediately identified his race as white (which isn't true), the cops must have some ulterior motive.
