I don’t have my stars and bars out today-just old glory and the state flag-but on the way from work, I saw that a several neighbors have them on display-two of those neighbors are of Latino ancestry, too-kind of makes a joke out of the idea that Tejanos don’t like that flag-and there is not one Mexican flag on this road ever, even though about half of us living here are of Latino ancestry...

Flag Day is observed annually on the grounds of the National Flag museum in Waubeka, WI just a couple of miles from here. The originator of Flag Day was a teacher at Stony Hills school there.
