don’t fret none, the government will continue to prop it up using our tax dollars...nothing much will change, except costs will rise (most being hidden in the form of government subsidies), and service will get worse.

That doesn't bother me. Mail delivery is one of the basic functions of government. If tax dollars subsidize it, I'm ok with that. I would much rather have my tax dollars used for mail than most other government functions.

Nine, Nada zilch. They have not been subsidized in nearly 20 years. The Post Office PAYS into the Treasury billions of dollars a year.
