1. OWNING A CAT IS BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

If you're worried about your carbon footprint, it’s better to own a cat than a dog. A 2009 study found that the resources needed to feed a dog over the course of its life create the same eco-footprint as that of a Land Cruiser. Meanwhile, cats—which eat less in general and are more likely to eat fish than corn- or beef-flavored products—only have the approximate carbon footprint of a small hatchback.

Like, say... a Prius?

That is just the issue. I don’t care one bit about my carbon footprint. I feel disposed to make a big one, however.

LOL, that’s the first thing I noticed and I rolled my eyes.

About the only good thing about having a cat is having your own homicidal maniac around that absolutely loves you although your mileage may vary on that love thing. Living in the country I miss having a cat to keep the mice, chipmunk and just about every other small mammal population in control.

A friend of mine called them flea bags, which wound up getting shortened to bag. So now all cats are called bags. It’s pretty damn funny when you’ve been drinking.

That is one piece of information that I could have done very well without knowing.

Some “researchers” have too much time on their hands.
