You always light up my life (!), and I appreciate your input.
Yes , revenge on the caterpillars can be quite satisfying, but the flu is more tactful and complete, even if you can't reach them all, given the height of the trees.
And the numbers will be reduced for next year.

I can remember back in upstate NY when our neighborhood had a moth problem, my parents and our neighbors would wrap rags around a stick, soak them in gas, set them on fire then go around and burn the nests.....it was very solemn but also very fun for we kids to watch...
