I really miss my dogs, too! I lost my Lady Lab and then my Basset within the past few years. I’m really liking having a Beagle, though. He’s HALF a Basset Hound, anyway. ;)
Well at least you have one. Lost my black lab many years ago, when she got loose and dashed in front of an oncoming car.
Daisy was part Jack Russell and Rat Terrier, and she was sort of calm in the house, but totally nuts after anything that moved or flew. So she kept the critters away from my gardens which are next to the patio and the play yard we had built for the grand kids.
