I have been married almost 40 years to my husband and i will never, ever, get married again if he goes first.
The bar is set 2 high! and frankly while i love him and will take care of him as long as he lives, I’m not looking to find some old guy who needs a nurse, whose adult kids HATE me and worry that i will spend a dollar of “their” inheritance. Or take care of HIS parents, if they are still alive. Been there done that!

Same here. Why would I want some old fart to take care of? Done. Anything happens to hubby I will live life to the fullest.....alone.

There is that also in our relationship. I don't know how I was so lucky to marry her, but the horror stories I hear from 95% of my male co workers are incredible.

There is simply no possible way I could ever meet another woman that could compare, especially given my very traditional beliefs in a woman's place and duties to her husband. Modern women would run away screaming "mysogynist"! Meanwhile my wife and I live a "Leave it to Beaver" lifestyle, are very happy together, and those "modern women" will always wonder why they were never happy.
