In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
Nonpareil
Adjective, Noun
noun - 2. a person or thing having no equal.
3. a small pellet of colored sugar for decorating candy, cake, and cookies.
4. a flat, round, bite-sized piece of chocolate covered with this sugar.
5. painted bunting.
6. Printing. a.a 6-point type. b.a slug occupying 6 points of space between lines.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

Our Tioga in Texas. North of Dallas - Home of Gene Autry and at one time some of the best BBQ found (Clarks) but, alas!, they are no longer the best (owner died).
