I was 16. He was 17. It was our song. I wore his letter sweater, his senior ring on a chain around my neck, and the record thin. I can still sing every note, probably even in my sleep.

Now it's decades later. He and his wife live down the street. I'm so glad she's married to him and not me! Just whew!

Thanks for posting the song. It was an unexpected nostalgic journey to break up the routine afternoon. Doo-wop forever!
