Interesting. I’ve known two people who killed themselves and they couldn’t stop talking about it in the weeks leading up to the act. I’ve long suspected that they did this not for attention, but rather to try to get the help they desperately needed. In both cases, obviously, nothing actually helped.
I know (after the fact) the circumstance on 2 and suspect the reason for 1 but no idea about the other one. Saw the results of a 5th one that jumped at work. That one I suspect was the result of the jobs ending and not much chance of finding work paying the same in wages and benefits in the area. And probably being way deep in debt.
