Why people wnat other people to display their personal spiritual relationship with God I’ll never know.

Sounds like enforced willful ignorance, which is your choice to make.

Most Christians would tell you they are just following Jesus of Nazareth in what they do. And He most certainly displayed His "spiritual relationship with God" in everything He accomplished.
