A person can be pardoned by the President for all crimes, past, present and future.A person can be pardoned for crimes they committed and haven't been charged with, like Nixon. However, I don't believe that a pardon can be given for all future crimes not yet committed. Otherwise, it would be a unlimited license to commit crimes without any possibility of prosecution.

Are you sure about "future crimes"?
I seriously doubt Nixon could go out and rob banks without penalty after his pardon.
Ford's pardon had a specific timeline.
It extended to the end of Nixon's resignation.
