The governing council of the Fort Worth suburb of White Settlement voted 2-1 to give the library 30 days to find a new home for Browser the cat.

He's been there for 6 years and no one has died of cat allergies. This was because another city employee wasn't allowed to bring their dog to work so it had nothing to do with allergies. The are more people who are allergic to paper dust.

The library in our east Tennessee town has a cat named ‘Story’, and no one seems to mind at all. However, we had our own ‘kerfluffle’ when one of the colony cats hopped up on some educrats Corvette a few weeks back. After a contentious town meeting, the message boiled down to ‘wash your damn car, teach.’

I’m highly allergic to cats but can tolerate a few hours with one. Even a few days, although my sinuses and eyes start complaining by then.

Had someone tell me our neighbor across the street threatened to shoot our old, yellow tabbie because he was sitting on his car. Good! Where I park there is a tree that drops stuff on certain times of the year and leaves a mess on the car. It happened to me once, so I don't park in those spots during the summer. I didn't demand the tree be chopped down.

I take my Labradoodle to work about once a week - ever since I first got him three years ago. Nobody has complained so far. But if just ONE does, that will be the end of it.
