A group of anti-Donald Trump Republican delegates is making one final do-or-die stand at the Republican convention in Cleveland from July 18-21.
The #NeverTrumpers are a mix of conservative-movement Ted Cruz supporters and Republicans who backed Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, and other candidates. They want to stop Mr. Trump, the winner of the GOP primaries, by peeling off enough of his pledged delegates on the first ballot to keep him below a majority, which would force a second ballot.

Don’t be surprised if Mr. Cruz throws his support behind Trump at the convention. Revenge for how McConnell, McLame and team treated him should still be looking in his head.
Too little, too late. Cruz doing the bare minimum to defeat the Butcher of Benghazi is not good enough. Cruz has green lighted this never Trump nonsense and he needs to pay for that Hillary enabling treason.
That would be the smart thing to do.

I was for Cruz and still believe he would be the better candidate. However, he lost and Trump won despite all the roadblocks thrown in his way. I can not listen to Glenn Beck any longer. I will vote for Trump, and I hope he picks a VP like Sessions so I can get 100% behind his campaign. We need to stop Hillary and fill the SC with conservative justices. I pray Mr. Trump will do that.

Look at what happened just yesterday in that dreadful abortion case ruling, in which no less than Reagan appointee Anthony Kennedy joined the liberals in advancing the slaughter of innocent unborn babies.

Why wouldn’t it be breach of contract if they sign up as DELEGATES to represent the will of the voters and don’t do that?
Actually, you are very correct—the plan was to have Jeb v. Hillary and for Hillary to win.
Everybody gets money and power.
But Trump came along and threw a wrench into the plan.
