The EU has become like a chicken with its head cut off. Not that they were much better before Brexit.

Amazingly the event was called 'Brexit' what did they think was going to happen?

Surprise, surprise...

Perhaps they should have called it... wait, strike up the band!

Remain Britannia, Britannia will remain

Britons never will be, er never mind

Have to get an entire rewrite!

Rule Britannia

“Economic progress is the work of the savers, who accumulate capital, and of the entrepreneurs, who turn capital to new uses. The other members of society, of course, enjoy the advantages of progress, but they not only do not contribute anything to it; they even place obstacles in its way.”

Hmmmmmm......

Euroweenie bureaucrats to Britainia:

“You can choose to be independent but you will feel our wrath.”

I guess tariffs have that kind of support.

“Why does the UK leaving the EU necessitate a global or UK financial meltdown?” she asked. And then it hit me, this was the question the world’s largest financial publications were failing to ask, or at the very least to answer honestly.

Real answer: It didn't. It was merely a false threat to try to influence the election, and the depression of stocks was totally artificial. That's why they bounced down and all the way back up, 200+ points, in 48 hours.

Which also means certain people made ENORMOUS amounts of money investing in this false bounce, because the company valuations are now normalized again.
