Don’t live around here do you?

Ranking conservative by the size list, I would put Phoenix just about where they are on the list. Between Philadelphia and San Antonio.

By the way, Maricopa County ain’t just Phoenix.
Maricopa County is conservative with a liberal cesspool called Phoenix in the middle. Do you seriously think Joe Arpaio could be elected dogcatcher in Phoenix, much less Sheriff? Five times? Not hardly.

You haven’t been to a real liberal city if you bash on Phoenix for being liberal. Yes, it’s much more liberal than the suburbs — as are all cities. I’m sure you think Mayor Greg Stanton is a fire-haired radical. But Phoenix is NOT New Orleans or Cleveland or Austin or even Houston, let alone Boston or Washington or Arlington, VA.

Of course the city itself will be more liberal than the outlying areas of the city, but you are fooling yourself if you think Phoenix is less conservative than any other city on that map.

It’s the only city on that list whose metro area didn’t give Obama a huge win.

You think all of Bexar county is San Antonio? Did you know that Randolph AFB, Lackland AFB, Fort Sam Houston and Brooks Army Medical Center all call Bexar county home?

And yet what were the results for Bexar county in 2012? 52% Obama, 47% Romney.

What about Philadelphia? The city itself is it’s own county and went 85% Obama to 14% Romney. The three counties that touch Philadelphia? Bucks County came close to giving Romney a win at 50% Obama, 49% Romney. Montgomery County was 57% Obama, 42% Romney. Delaware County was 60% Obama, 39% Romney.

So what other city on that list do you think is more conservative?

Just because Phoenix is liberal doesn’t mean it isn’t the most conservative city on that list. Maybe you don’t understand how liberal other cities are. If that is the case, then count your blessings.
