“Yes, when you are a sophomore. Otherwise it lessens your arguments, your assertions, and the ability of others to take you seriously. We live in serious, deadly time. Should we not act as if our lives are on the line?”
You are correct. Our lives are on the line. It’s been a mounting orchestrated nightmare for several decades, culminating with a traitor in the executive seat. As far as I know, I was the first person to opine here and elsewhere before the 2008 election that this person out of the blue, Obama, had been groomed to be a “Trojan Horse,” a “Manchurian Candidate,” that after my studying what background there was to find. Didn’t mean that sober observation as thigh-slapping humor either.
Now that you have brought it up, I have to say that sometimes when I go on a thread to comment, and it’s a rather serious thread, perhaps even someone has died, I am rather taken aback at some of the glib comments.
Sometimes trying to crack jokes and twist words in order to get a laugh is neither appropriate nor funny. It’s like we’re so used to what’s going on that it no longer affects us - nothing is sinking in any longer. These are very scary times....no laughing matter.
“Trojan Horse” and “Manchurian Candidate” aren’t name calling, they are descriptives of a person’s character.
“Obummer”, “Shrillery”, “Hitlery” and “Commie” instead of “Comey” are not intelligent descriptives, they are childish name calling and do not further our cause. They make us seem immature and unintelligent.
