‘morning...
Wait ... what? Did you move to Colorado and I missed it?
Hard to argue with that.
Unless youre Moose.
The foreguesser on my beeber says it’s 37 but feels like 29 here.
I really don’t understand that “feels like” thing. I mean, I sure can’t tell the difference between 29 and 27 or 30. How can they?
Or do they have an official person named something like Boris so they can say, “Hey, Boris, what temperature does it feel like?”
Good Morning.
:)
Howdy, strangler!
How’s the snow where you are?
Darn. I was going to snipe for that.
Snow all melted by noonish.
Hey, DC! I Four of a Kind!
I did it on a assident, Nully.
Dasn’t need to worry 6789 will be up for grabs soon enough.
Speaking of which, look at all the little humpbacks in my last post.
People that know me know that I’m not (upset by the election).
People that don’t know me would not know that my hair quotient shrunk drastically overnight.. ;-)
OK, NOW who’s going to take care of my “guaranteed for life” Craftsman hammer???
I’m gonna miss Sears.
I just got back from visiting Chuck, with LuDean, Charlie and Zeke. It was bittersweet, but I was glad to see for myself how he is doing.
All in all, he looks and acts remarkably well. I don’t know how long before our visit that he had been medicated, but it was obvious that he wasn’t quite “with us.”
Still, we gave him a card signed by the Peeps and two other wannabe Peeps, and talked to him for about 30 minutes. He has lost weight, and that’s a good thing, and he was talking quite well, which bodes well for his overall recovery.
One of the nurses asked him if he wanted anything and he said, “A 12-pack of beer!” So I know he is doing better! he still has vision problems with his left eye, but Zeke said the eye didn’t move yesterday, while today, there was some movement.
I held his hand for a few minutes while I talked to him and told him that when he comes home, we will have a pizza and beer party for him. Charlie didn’t say much because he had just lost his life-long friend who had been in an after care facility.
LuDean, Charlie and I went out to wait in a room by the main desk, and waited for Zeke, as we figured they might want to talk some business. When he came to get us, LuDean reminded him that he left his jacket. When he went back to get it, he said Chuck had told him, “The Girls came!” Pain meds!
I’m glad Zeke is doing okay. We’ll be off to church for the big Guadalupe show soon. I have copies to make and setup to supervise before it starts.
By the way, thanks!
You’re welcome. Wear it in good health!
Tom the Son came to church last night for the tamales and other excitement. I went over to him in the congregation, where he was towering over several Mexican families, to thank him for bringing his brothers and the guitar cable (which I’d forgotten). “Tom, you brushed your hair!” I said. “That was so nice of you!” *blank look* “No, I didn’t. It just looks like that.” “Oh, phooey! You could have just let me think you had!”
Perhaps Tom is one of those lucky people who can just shake his head and all the hairs return to their proper places. One of my sisters is like that.
Me? I have to use the squirter bottle to get my hair to curl properly, then scrunch it. Otherwise, it looks slept in.
It must be lonely on the UT late at night...
There used to be people in strange time zones who visited the place while we slept, but the world is smaller now.
Good morning! Tom promised he would comb his hair for Bill’s graduation next Saturday, just to keep my mother from having a cow.
