WASHINGTON, D.C., July 8, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – WWJD – What Would Jesus Do? – became a national catchphrase, inviting people to model their lives after Christ. Former President Jimmy Carter thinks he knows how the Nazarene would approach two hot-button issues of today.
“I believe Jesus would approve of gay marriage,” Carter said this week in an interview with HuffPost Live.
And he believes Jesus would approve abortion in the cases of rape and incest.
Carter told interviewer Marc Lamont Hill, “I never have run across any really serious conflicts between my political obligations and my religious faith.”
When Hill asked if Jesus Christ would support redefining marriage, Carter replied, “I believe Jesus would. I don’t have any verse in Scripture.”

"I think Jesus would encourage any sort of love affair that was honest and sincere, and was not damaging to anyone else,” he added. “And I don’t think that gay marriage damages anyone else."
Jimmah continues to show us he's a National embarrassment.
Cognitive dissonance - liberals can rationalize anything including disobedience to God himself.
Oh, maybe just one in particular, Jimmah.
The Clueless wonder just keeps digging a deeper hole.
Example of the unpardonable sin. To suggest the Holy Son of God would promote sin is blasphemy.
Reminds me of a bible story where a false prophet lies to a real prophet. The real prophet is killed by a lion for believing the false prophet.
Isn’t he dead yet?
To me, Jimmy Carter is a blasphemy. He is a blasphemy on the human race. He is a blasphemy on all humanity.
There’s a lot of false prophecy these days.
I think he is referring to Jesus, Jesus Gonzalez......

I believe many would be much happier had Jimmah’s mama aborted the little twerp!
Dementia has really set in with the Peanut.
Another fake Christian. Agent of Satan. When will we be rid of this scourge?
1) He has nothing biblical to back him
2) I always though of him as a misguided evangelical. Apparently he is not even a Christian.
3) I really really hate the phrase “what would Jesus do”. I don’t know, you don’t know, and I’m not Jesus, OK.
I can’t get any farther than “Don’t ask, don’t tell.”
IMHO, Jesus wouldn’t have approved of LGBT proselytizing.
Yes, while secular law makers may make those exceptions, I am just gonna go way out on a limb and figure Jesus does NOT approve of infanticide.
Jimmy Carter speaks for Jesus now?
Some years ago a home church we went to, the owners of the home were great lovers and defenders of Carter. I hope I bump into them again sometime and ask them what now they think of their Christian hero.
This is what happens when a socialist liberal gets senile or develops dementia. Carter is a decrepit old fool.
