Trump demands Ginsburg resign for criticizing him as unfit

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump called Wednesday for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to resign for saying publicly that she feels he is unfit to be president. Lashing out, Trump said the 83-year-old justice's "mind is shot."

"Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me," the presumptive Republican presidential nominee wrote in an early morning tweet on @realDonaldTrump. "Her mind is shot — resign!"

Ginsburg said in an interview with The Associated Press last week that she didn't want to think about the possibility that Trump would be president and predicted that Democrat Hillary Clinton will win and have a few appointments to make to the Supreme Court.

It is highly unusual for a sitting justice to weigh in so publicly on a political campaign, though Ginsburg is known for speaking her mind on other issues and is celebrated as a liberal icon known to fans as Notorious RBG.

Ginsberg should have been impeached and removed decades ago.

Look at the hematomas on the back of Ginsburg’s hand. Maybe she also has a hematoma on her brain.

Well she certainly can no longer preside if the election makes it to the Supreme Cort again.

We’ve always known her politics and bias, through both her CV and court opinions. We’ve also known for some time that she’s an intellectual slob, through such follies as her mandate to rely on international law for inspiration in her decisions. She has now shown herself to be just a garden variety liberal, to all of whom there are no boundaries established by decorum, dignity or professional ethics. And, having stated her position on any future cases involving a President Trump, she will, also typical of an ethics-less liberal, not recuse herself on any of them.

The court is completely Catholic and Jewish

5/3

“And I think Sottimayor is part Jewish

It’s ridiculous

The club

Can’t they find a Southern Baptist or Church of Christ or Charismatic to sit on the bench

All tony northeastern school parchment Mafia”

This has been a severely overlooked issue. Everyone complains about having diversity on the bench, but it’s dominated by northeastern jew/catholic ivy league elites.

I guess it would be bad optics to nominate a Baptist from Texas that wears and cowboy hat and doesn’t attended cocktail parties in Georgetown and eat $300 a scoop caviar.

No, Vivian, Trump is calling for her resignation because she MADE A POLITICAL STATEMENT. Supreme Court judges are supposed to remain silent and unbiased politically, it’s the price they pay for their esteemed position.

Well, she hasn’t resigned over her inability to follow the Constitution, so I doubt she’ll resign over her inability to control her emotions.

Trump spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, just made mincemeat out of that arrogant jerk, Wolf Blizter....and on more than one subject also, including that of Supreme Court JustAss, Ruth Bitter Ginsburg.

Katrina is so fast on her feet, she had Wolfie folding like a cheap suit because she outwitted him at every turn...and left him at the end gasping out his lame old fall-back ploy..."we'll just have to agree to disagree".

Katrina would make a savvy press secretary for Mr. Trump...nobody messes with HER.

He is correct she should resign. Her comments put her squarely in the partisan political world. And a judge ain’t supposed to be there! But she will not resign; lefties never do unless they get caught sexting pictures of their johnsons.

Two of the 4 Jewish justices born in the 20th Century had to resign - Fortas because of ethical issues, and Goldberg when he was blackmailed by LBJ. Hopefully Ginsburg will make it a majority.

At one point no Catholic or Jewish person would ever have been considered for the court.

Wino Ruth. Let’s be honest - these old foggies don’t write their own decisions - they hire like minded ideologues who write up an opinion to conform to their party platform. The Supreme Court was a nice idea for a while - no longer. They say our 2nd ammend rights are from a time when they had muskets? Well so is the Supreme Court - an undemocratic institution. End it and replace it.

Somehow the MSM will turn this into a “Trump is an anti-semite” story.

Yeah...as if this atheist Commie has seen the inside of a synagogue in the past 60 years.
