i saw whittle on another video trying to explain why, if comey was completely bought off, why didn’t he just come out and give a 30 second explanation just saying “we didnt find anything..no charges”. whittle’s take was that although comey probably thought he would have a high conviction percentage with the emails, that the better case that comey was laying out in his speech was the one of hillary lying to congress, which would be more easily provable and a much greater chance of conviction. If they prove all three, there’s even a stipulation that the offender cant hold public office.
