Watching Newt on Hannity...NOBODY is as wicked smart as Newt....!! He would keep the focus where it must be! He would DESTROY liberal arguments....

He is very smart and regardless of who is announced I believe he will play a major role in the Trump administration.
Pence has stated that he is pro immigration of refugees.
He can do other things/hold a position where he can do more good. The VP position, although honorable, does not get much action. Newt is too old to be VP and too controversial.

Newt is better as Chief of Staff with a mic! VP has too many other duties to be 100% effective as a President’s surrogate.

Pence would be Trump’s VP. He does not set policy. This is not the primary.
